Big Sheep Slippers Pachamama
Big Sheep Slippers from Pachamama. Felted 100% wool, suede soles, EU 38-39 and 40-41.
Pachamama love sheep, and their Big Sheep features a signature single sheep. The felted slippers have a large smiling sheep on a blue ground, structured enough to hold their shape and open at the heel to slip straight on. A pattern with personality.
The felted wool upper regulates temperature and keeps feet dry, the suede sole gives grip, and the open heel means they go on without a hand. Wear with or without socks. Hand felted in Nepal.
Sizes EU 38-39 and EU 40-41 · 100% felted wool upper · 100% suede sole · Open heel · Hand felted · Fair trade and handmade in Nepal · Sponge clean only
Pachamama was founded in the UK in 1990 by David Child and Cathy Stirland, offering goods brought back from the Andes on a market stall in London. Since 1996 Pachamama has fairly traded handmade 100% wool clothing, accessories and homeware made in Nepal. Most pieces are knitted in villages, where the work tops up farm income, and Pachamama has stayed with some of the same producers for more than 20 years. The brand is a member of BAFTS, the Fair Trade Network UK, following the World Fair Trade Organisation's 10 principles. Pachamama gives at least 10% of profit on every sale to children's charities in Nepal, including Net4kids and Right4Children.
