Fuji from Gotenyama by Katsushika Hokusai Recycled Bag LOQI
A recycled tote bag from LOQI printed with Hokusai's Fuji from Gotenyama, from the Thirty-Six Views series.
Blossom in the foreground, Mount Fuji holding steady behind it. It's one of the softer prints from the series, and it translates beautifully to tote size: pale pinks, deep blues and a view people will actually stop and look at.
Katsushika Hokusai was born around 1760 in Edo, now Tokyo. He was in his seventies when he made the Thirty-Six Views series, and close to two hundred years on, the prints still feel current.
One for anyone who loves Japanese art, and an easy one to keep for yourself.
