The workers are paid sick leave and, health insurance is provided for older workers. The regular work provided enables women from largely rice farming rural areas to improve their families’ living conditions and to send children to school. The main technicians have worked with Lua for 17 years and provide excellent training and mentoring to new workers as well as tremendous experience and craftsmanship in developing new products.

Tom of Finland is a cult illustrator (1920 - 1991). Tom of Finland, born Touko Laaksonen in 1920, was a pioneering Finnish artist celebrated for his iconic and revolutionary contributions to homoerotic art. Widely recognised for his stylised and hyper-masculine depictions of men, Tom of Finland's work played a crucial role in challenging societal norms and advocating for LGBTQ+ visibility, shaping gay culture and contributing to positive and affirming imagery. Today, Tom of Finland's legacy lives on through the Tom of Finland Foundation, established in 1984, which supports and promotes erotic art while preserving his vast body of work.
