MOOMIN is a beloved series of comic strips created by Finnish illustrator Tove Jansson, Set in the whimsical world of Moominvalley, the stories follow Moomintroll and his eclectic group of friends Snufkin, Little My, and Snorkmaiden. Tove Jansson is arguably one of Finland's most famous artists and, at a time of when it was outside of the norm, Tove was open about her relationships with both women and men and spent 45 years with her partner Tuulikki Pietilä (Tooti).
